Recreation
Howe Caverns Cobleskill Golf

You don't have to be a serious caver or spelunker to appreciate the geology of Howe Caverns. Specially trained tour guides will help you negotiate the cave and learn about the magnificent limestone formations, the stalactites, stalagmites and flowstone, and the tremendous conservation effort underway to protect and preserve Howe Caverns for future generations.

Formation of the Cobleskill Golf and Country Club began in 1928.  The 9 holes course was opened the weekend of Labor Day 1929 with a sweepstake tournament on Saturday and a flag handicap tournament on Monday.   Thus in September 1991, ground was broken for the start of the new 9 holes. Cobleskill Golf and Country Club would become an 18 hole facility!
